“Get Started” delay
Thank you for your interest in our services. I (Iain) have temporarily suspended the ability for new clients to sign up for an assessment while we focus on providing quality care to our current clients. I appreciate your patience during this time.
I encourage you to continue exploring the information available on my website, especially the details, pricing, policies, and FAQ pages. Sign-ups for new clients will re-open on Tuesday February 25th 2025 at 12pm noon (EST, Toronto time). Please check back then for updates, and in the mean time, carefully review the extensive information available on my website. Wait times to get an interview (when sign ups are open) are approximately 6 to 10 weeks, though testing starts shortly after you sign up.
Waitlist? Based on past suggestions from clients, I implemented a waitlist system and tried it for several months. However, it led to more complications than solutions in my practice. Therefore, I've made the decision not to maintain a waitlist at this time.
Notifications? I don’t have a system for this other than for you to check back on this page periodically. Once I select a date for new sign-ups to open here, I post that date here usually at least a week ahead of time so you’d see it beforehand.
What to do in the mean time? Feel free to check out the self-screening and my podcast.
General overview of the assessment:
Sign up (when available), and send the payment, at time of sign up
You’ll know sign ups are available because instead of seeing this ‘delayed’ page, you’ll see a ‘get started’ page with a sign up form at the same location, via the ‘start assessment’ button.
Fill out the tests and written questions online when you’re ready (promptly, a few days or weeks?)
We book and then complete your interview (often within weeks of test completion, but currently it can be closer to 4 to 8 weeks or perhaps slightly more)
I write your final report (within ~1 week of your interview)
We chat to debrief your results and then I send you your final report and various resources (ASAP, typically within 1 or 3 days)
This service is for adults who are in Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Yukon at the time of the assessment.
Please ensure you’ve read about the policies page thoroughly before signing up. You are responsible for making sure your insurance covers our specific assessment services before you sign up. I will not spend time trying to rectify this for you after the fact if you failed to confirm with your insurer before you sign up for my services, if your insurer is trying to deny the claim.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.
